The noble Katina Robe Offering Ceremony was successfully held on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
First and foremost, we express our deepest rejoicing in merit (pattidāna) to the Venerable Chief Monk and all the other monks who graciously accepted the invitation and participated over the Katina Sanghika Dana (collective almsgiving) and to perform the sacred Katina Vinaya rituals on behalf of the entire community of devotees.
As the foundation of this meritorious ceremony, we extend our heartfelt rejoicing in merit to all devotees who respectfully invited the monks to observe the Vassana precept (rains retreat), supported with the Four Requisites throughout the three months, and rendered continuous service with devotion and care.
Likewise, we rejoice in the merits of all who contributed to organizing this event — from finding and coordinating the hall, donating all related expenses, and participating in prior inspections, to preparing and transporting the necessary items to the venue. Our gratitude goes to everyone who joined, regardless of gender, to decorate the hall with flags and flowers late into the night on Saturday, October 25. May all your merits multiply!
We also extend our acknowledgement to all who participated in the Katina activities as recorded in the shared Google Sheet — offering items and requisites to the monks, preparing the Katina Robe, donating a new sewing machine for robe stitching, and offering the Vassāvāsika robe, Atapirikara (the eight requisites), financial and other material contributions, offerings of morning and lunch meals, and other alms and offerings.
We further rejoice in merits of those who,
prepared the Buddha Puja offerings and managed the monks’ lunch time almsfood offerings,
Oversaw meal coordination, morning refreshments, and Katina procession arrangements,
Managed transportation, sound systems, photography, and videography,
Created and presented the final Katina video production,
Donated and operated a new projector for use in the Dhamma school and temple programs.
Designed and presented announcements, posters for the Katina ceremony and weekend meditation sessions.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, our appreciation extends to all who prepared and served refreshments, cleaned and restored the hall, returned materials to the temple and restored them, and contributed insightful guidance and support in countless ways.
May all—young or old, those who participated in person or from afar, and even those who could not attend due to various circumstances—rejoice in these merits!
May all our dhamma friends in Bangladesh, who joined and made offerings with great devotion, also share in these blessings!
May these meritorious deeds bring blessings to your beloved parents, both living and departed!
May all departed relatives and loved ones rejoice in these merits!
May your dear children be blessed with happiness and success!
May all your daily endeavors and aspirations be fulfilled!

2025 – කඨින චීවර පූජෝත්සවය – පුණ්‍යානුමෝදනා…!
2025 ඔක්තෝබර් 26 වන ඉරිදා දින උතුම් කඨින චීවර පූජෝත්සවය සාර්ථකව පැවතුණි.
2025 වර්ෂයේ සියලු දායක පිරිස එකතුව සිදු කළ මෙම වටිනා පිංකමෙහි දහවල් සංඝගත දක්ෂිණාව සහ කඨින චීවර විනය කර්ම කටයුතු වෙනුවෙන් ආරාධනය පිළිගෙන වැඩමකොට වදාළ ගෞරවනී‍ය ලොකු හාමුදුරුවන් වහන්සේ ප්‍රධාන මහසගරුවනට පළමුව අපගේ පුණ්‍යානුමෝදනා වෙත්වා !
පිංකමෙහි මූලික අවස්ථාව ලෙස, භික්ෂුන් වහන්සේට වස් වසා වැඩ සිටින ලෙස ආරාධනා කළ සහ වස් තුන්මාසය තුළ භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේට සිව්පසයෙන් උපස්ථාන කරමින්, සොයා බලමින් කටයුතු කළ පින්වත් ඔබ සෑමදෙනාටත්,
කඨින පිංකම පැවැත්වීම සදහා ශාලාව සොයාදීමෙන්, සම්බන්ධීකරණය කිරීමෙන්, සහ ශාලාව සදහා සමස්ථ වියදම භාරගෙන පූජා කිරීමෙන්, ශාලාවේ පූර්ව නිරීක්ෂණ සදහා සම්බන්ධ වීමෙන්, විහාරස්ථානයට වරින් වර පැමිණ ශාලාව වෙත ගෙන යා යුතු දෑ සකසමින්, රැගෙන යමින්, ප්‍රවාහන පහසුකම් සපයා දෙමින්, 25 වන සෙනසුරාදා දින මධ්‍යම රාත්‍රී වේලාවේ ශාලාව සරසා සැකසීම සදහා කාන්තා-පිරිමි භේදයකින් තොරව සහභාගී වී කොඩි සහ මල් සැරසිලි සිදු කරමින් ආදී වශයෙන් දායක වූ පින්වත් සැමදෙනාටත් පුණ්‍යානුමෝදනා වෙත්වා !
කඨින පුණ්‍යෝත්සවය වෙනුවෙන් යොමු කළ google sheet යෙදවුමට අනුව භික්ෂුන් වහන්සේලාගේ දාන ද්‍රවය හා උපකරණ භාරගනිමින්, කඨින චීවරය පූජා කිරීමටත්, කඨින චීවරය මසා නිම කිරීමට ඇදුම් මසන උපකරණයක් පූජා කරමින් සහ වස්සාවාසික චීවරය පූජා කිරීමටත් සම්බන්ධ වූ, එසේම අටපිරිකර සහ චීවර පූජා, මූල්‍ය පරිෂ්කාර, අතිරේක පරිෂ්කාර, භාරගෙන පූජා කරමින්, ගිහි බැතිමතුන්ගේ උදෑසන අතිරේක ආහාර සහ දහවල් ආහාර මෙන් ම අනෙකුත් දාන ද්‍රව්‍ය භාරගෙන පූජා කරමින් දායකත්වය දැරූ පින්වතුන්ටත් පුණ්‍යානුමෝදනා වෙත්වා !
පිංකමෙහි දහවල් බුද්ධපූජාව සකස් කරමින්, දහවල් සඟසතු දානයට අවශ්‍ය කටයුතු බලමින්, සියලු ආහාර වර්ග කළමනාකරණය කරමින්, උදෑසන කෙටි ආහාර සකසමින්, බෙදාහරිමින්, කඨින පෙරහැර සකසමින්, පැමිණි පිරිසගේ රථවාහන කළමනාකරණය කරමින්, ශබ්ද විකාශන යන්ත්‍ර ලබා දී ඒවා ක්‍රියාත්මක කරමින්, ඡායාරූප සහ වීඩීයෝ පටිගත කරමින්, වැඩසටහන අවසානයේ ඉදිරිපත් කළ වටිනා වීඩියෝ පටය සකසමින්, විහාරස්ථානයේ දහම් පාසල් ආදී කටයුතු සදහා භාවිත කිරීම සදහා නව ප්‍රක්ෂේපණ යන්ත්‍රයක් පූජා කරමින් සහ එදින එය ක්‍රියා කරවමින්, කඨින පිංකමෙහි සහ වස්කාලයේ සති අන්තවල පැවති වන්දනා සහ භාවනා වැඩසටහනෙහි දැන්වීම් සකසමින්, පිංකම දින අවශ්‍ය නිවේදන ඉදිරිපත් කරමින්, චීවර සහ අටපිරිකර පූජා කිරීම් ආදී විවිධාකාර වගකීම් ඉටු කරමින් පින්කමට දායක වූ පින්වත් සෑමදෙනාටත් පුණ්‍යානුමෝදනා වේත්වා !
එසේම කඨින චීවර පූජෝත්සවය අවසානයේ අහාර පාන සකසා සියලු දෙනාට ලබා දෙමින්, ශාලාවේ සියලු සැරසිලි සහ ද්‍රවය අස්කරමින්, පිරිසිදු කරමින් ගෙනගිය දෑ ගෙනැවිත් අවසානයේ විහාරස්ථානයට පැමිණ පවා සියල්ල නැවත සකස් කරමින්, සියලු සහයෝගය දක්වමින් මෙන් ම වටිනා අදහස් ලබා දී බුද්ධිමය දායකත්ව ලබා දෙමින්…මේ ආදී වශයෙන් සදහන් කළ සහ නොකළ නමුත් විවිධ ආකාරයෙන් සහයෝගය දැක්වූ, දායක වූ, වෙහෙස වූ, දුර බැහැර සිට පවා සහභාගී වූ හා විවිධ අපහසුතා නිසා සහභාගී වීමට නොහැකි වූ බාල, තරුණ, වැඩිමහල් ඔබ සෑම සියලු දෙනාට පුණ්‍යානුමෝදනා වෙත්වා…! පිංකම සදහා සම්බන්ධ වී පූජාවන් සිදු කරමින් අවසානය දක්වා සම්බන්ධ වූ බංග්ලාදේශ පින්වත් සෑමදෙනාටත් පුණ්‍යානුමෝදනා වෙත්වා !
මේ කළ පුණ්‍ය සංස්කාර ඔබගේ වටිනා දෙමාපියන්ටද හේතු වාසනා වෙත්වා…!
මියපරලොව ගිය මව්දෙමාපිය හෝ අනෙකුත් ඥාතීන්ට ද මේ සියලු පින් අනුමෝදන් වෙත්වා !
ඔබගේ දයාබර දරුවන්ට ද වාසනා වෙත්වා…!
එදිනෙදා දිවියේ සියලු කටයුතු හා ප්‍රාර්ථනා සඵල වෙත්වා…! නිදුක් නිරෝගී දීර්ඝායුෂ සම්පත් හේතු වෙත්වා…!
සම්බුද්ධ ශාසනයේ වටිනා පුණ්‍යකර්මයකට සම්බන්ධ වීමෙන් කුඩා අනුකුඩා වශයෙන් හෝ මහත් වශයෙන් හෝ යම් ආකාරයක කුසල් සම්පත් ප්‍රගුණ වූයේද එසේ වර්ධනය වූ කුසල සම්පත් උතුම් චතුරාර්ය සත්‍යාවබෝධය සාක්ෂාත් කරනු පිණිස පාරමි ධර්මයක් ම වෙත්වා… !!!
